As an annoying couple who actually likes each other, we run a Substack dishin’ out recipes, hot kitchen tips, weekly meal plans, and other chaotic content to carry your ass through the week.

Cause listen! That ass needs carrying! And it’s okay! Life’s hard, and deciding what to make every single day of the mother freaking week is A LOT.

We’re here to deliver weekly meal plans (yes bitch, that’s Monday through Sunday, with room for takeout because we love to treat ourselves while stimulating our local economy, ayyy!) that are tasty AF, relatively easy to make, and guaranteed to help you impress the in-laws, hinge date, and pals.

Because we’re the best, we send out a weekly grocery list. Like, you literally don’t have think. At all. Just hop on over to your email every Saturday AM, copy and paste that list into notes and get your fine ass to the grocery store.

Alongside recipes, meal plans, and grocery lists, we also deliver alternating posts from the bean team: Tay and Meeks. Consider Tay the chaotic evil to Mike’s lawful good. While Meeks sends out a well researched, thoughtful deep dive into the delicious wonders of the world (how to master sourdough, making your own chilli crisp, have you heard of canele?), Tay delivers posts on literally whatever the fuck she wants (why do we still let sexist comics host award shows! Hobbies are good for the soul! Don’t let your day job squander your creative soul and spirit!)

We’ve been together since 2017 and are married! We have a cute-ass dog named Marzy, live on Lekwungen territory in Victoria, BC, and spend our free time biking The Goose, taking pottery classes or whatever, and making 5-star, *chefs kiss* meals with family and friends.
